Can stocks snap their losing stream? 📉

U.S. indexes have been locked in a slide since Friday, but early-morning futures action is pointing to a potential rebound today.

Good Morning!

It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news.

Let’s get ready to trade!

Markets 📈

Stocks extended their pullback on Tuesday with another set of fractional losses. U.S. indexes ran in the green for most of the session, but pulled back just before the closing bell.

  •  Dow [<0.1%]

  • S&P 500 [-0.2%]

  • Nasdaq [-0.4%]

  • Russell 2K [-0.1%]

Futures are in the green again this morning. Dow and S&P 500 contracts are both up by 0.4%.

What to Watch Today:
Earnings are the most notable thing on today’s schedule, although today’s docket is a little light. Cintas and Carnival are the two biggest names on this morning’s docket.

Also, keep an eye on whether the market is able to snap its recent slide. Early morning futures action is encouraging, but anything can happen between now and the closing bell.

Novocure [NVCR] - Last Close: $13.07

Tiny biotech stock Novocure said its lung cancer device met its main goal in a METIS Phase 3 trial for certain types of lung cancer patients.

Novocure’s Tumor Treating Fields device slowed the spreading of cancer to the brain by creating electrical fields that disrupt cancer cell growth.

NVCR is up 28.7% on over a million shares traded.

My Take: NVCR sounds like it’s on course for an eventual approval. Shares are down by 11.8% over the past 10 days, but this catalyst could help it right the ship. w

iBio [IBIO] - Last Close: $1.15

This tiny biotech has entered into a collaboration agreement with AstralBio to develop antibodies to treat obesity & other cardiometabolic conditions.

Yesterday, the company also announced a $15 million private placement financing round with institutional investors.

IBIO is leading the premarket with a 121.8% gain on over 15 million shares traded.

My Take: IBIO appears to be gearing up for a major research push, and it could be in ideal position to swing higher in the coming weeks.

VERB Tech [VERB] - Last Close: $0.28

VERB Tech is surging after announcing a formal partnership with TikTok Shop that will give users access to its MARKET.live livestream shopping service.

Under the terms of the deal, TikTok Shop will refer users to Market.live, who will offer them various services, such as onboarding, content creation, etc.

VERB is up 37.4% on 32 million shares traded in today’s premarket.

My Take: VERB’s TikTok deal could be a major boon for the tiny company, as it could drive huge numbers of potential customers to the platform.

PaySign [PAYS] - Last Close: $3.38

PaySign is surging after posting a double-line beat on its Q4 financial release in Tuesday’s aftermarket.

PaySign reported EPS of $0.10 per share against the consensus of $0.02, and its Q4 revenues grew 28.9% to $13.69 million, also topping the consensus.

PAYS is up 18.6% on 1.5 million shares traded.

My Take: PAYS had a very profitable quarter, and it has a favorable trend line. This could be worth watching as an outside-the-box consumer finance & FinTech play.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!

Best Regards,
