Good Afternoon!
Hey, everyone. It's Adam from Elite Trade Club. Here’s what moved the market today.

Markets
Friday served up a three-course meal of worry, and nobody at the table seemed hungry for more. Policymakers sent a message, a headline-grabbing theft rattled one corner of the market, and a familiar spending story got a second, much harder look.
Read on, because the explanation behind that mood beats the mood itself, and it comes with a few twists.

Coinbase shares sank to a two-year low, falling about 12% as the Binance fallout rattled the sector and analysts cut price targets after its revenue narrowly missed, with third-quarter revenue down 35% year over year despite an earnings beat driven largely by crypto investment gains.

Acquisitions & Regulation

AI Needs Power (Sponsored)
Wall Street is bracing for the biggest wave of AI IPOs yet, with OpenAI and Anthropic among the names investors are watching.
Get me the power stock.
Money like that does not stay in software. Whatever AI needs in order to run gets a share, and electricity heads that list.
Send me the ticker by text.
One American energy company is already serving that demand. The window closes when the spotlight lands.
Show me the name now.

Top Winners and Losers
Grid Dynamics [GDYN] $13.36 (+40.78%)
Grid Dynamics turned in a record $114.3 million quarter, but the plot twist was profitability: EBITDA margin jumped to 20% from 12.2% while headcount shrank, the corporate version of doing more with less and actually meaning it.
AI work now makes up 31% of sales, and a fourth quarter outlook that topped estimates gave shareholders a margin story worth repeating.
FMC Corporation [FMC] $6.20 (+30.53%)
FMC reported a jaw-dropping $2.07 billion quarterly loss and the stock still rocketed because a big slice traced to a $639 million charge for a deliberate reset of pricing and distribution. Investors read it as the worst being behind it.
Management floated 2027 adjusted EBITDA of $650 million to $730 million, turning an ugly print into a relief rally.
Asure Software [ASUR] $9.41 (+30.15%)
Asure Software delivered the kind of quarter that makes payroll people smile: revenue up 10% to $40.0 million, recurring revenue up 16%, and a net loss that shrank to $0.6 million from $5.4 million a year ago.
Adjusted EBITDA margin climbed to 26.1%, and 2027 revenue guidance of $183 million to $187 million gave the rally its script.
Alphatec Holdings [ATEC] $7.04 (-38.08%)
Alphatec had a quarter that went sideways on the operating table. Revenue of $221 million grew 13% but missed the company’s own plan, and the outlook slid to about $862 million from $882 million.
Fewer bone grafts sold with implants and softer back surgery volumes did the damage, with revenue per case sinking about 5% despite about 20% more cases.
Reddit [RDDT] $91.73 (-29.22%)
Reddit beat on earnings and still got buried, because the headline was traffic: search visits were down meaningfully, with Google’s AI-powered search siphoning off clicks.
Add a soft outlook and nagging user growth worries, and investors quickly decided even the front page of the internet deserves a markdown. The thread was great; the comment section, brutal.
Intel [INTC] $65.76 (-28.58%)
Intel’s third-quarter beat, with data center revenue up almost 80% to $7.3 billion, but a fourth-quarter forecast of $15 billion to $16 billion landed below the roughly $17 billion expected.
Blame AI data centers hoovering up memory chips, which makes PCs pricier and demand softer, plus a factory accident in Israel. Cue the largest one-day loss on record.
Would you rather the NYSE's closing-auction imbalance data be published roughly 10 minutes before the close, as it is today, or kept completely secret until after the bell?
