Inflation Gets the Next Shot at Moving the Market

After July’s weak jobs report eased some fears of another Fed hike, investors are now waiting for Wednesday’s inflation report. The S&P 500 recently returned to record territory, but a hotter-than-expected CPI reading could quickly revive rate concerns and put pressure on the technology-led rally.

Global Money Is Quietly Rotating Away From Asia’s AI Winners

Foreign investors sold Asian equities for a ninth consecutive month, with Taiwan and South Korea absorbing the heaviest withdrawals as questions grew around AI spending, chip demand, and cash burn. India and Thailand bucked the trend with inflows, suggesting investors are diversifying rather than abandoning the region altogether.

AI & Infrastructure

Nvidia Wants Wall Street to Help Finance the Next $500 Billion of AI

Nvidia partnered with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR to create AI financing platforms targeting more than $500 billion of third-party capital. Nvidia could backstop as much as $125 billion, turning the AI infrastructure boom into a much larger institutional-finance trade rather than leaving hyperscalers to fund the buildout alone.

Intel Turns Its Stock Rally Into $20 Billion of Fresh Capital

Intel raised $20 billion in an upsized share offering as it pours money into factories, advanced packaging, and its foundry turnaround. AI-driven CPU demand has already pushed the company to increase capital spending, and management is now using the stock’s huge 2026 rally to strengthen the balance sheet while expansion costs remain high.

Chips & Space

Microsoft Takes Another Swing at Nvidia With Maia 300

Microsoft is reportedly preparing to unveil its next-generation Maia 300 AI chip as soon as September. The company is seeking substantial manufacturing capacity from TSMC and wants major Azure customers to adopt the processor, giving Microsoft another way to lower its dependence on Nvidia while keeping more AI economics inside its own cloud ecosystem.

Rocket Lab’s Neutron Timeline Is Starting to Slip

Rocket Lab said its Neutron rocket is now expected to reach the launch pad in the fourth quarter, narrowing the chances of an inaugural flight before year-end. Second-quarter revenue still jumped 62% to a record, but weaker expected margins and continued Neutron spending remind investors that moving into larger reusable rockets is an expensive leap.

Elon’s Next Empire (Sponsored)

A new patent may reveal Elon Musk’s next major AI breakthrough.

One analyst calls it “M.A.G.I.” and believes it could become bigger than Tesla and SpaceX combined.

Musk has even described the concept as an “infinite money glitch.”

Shein’s IPO Is Coming With a Much Smaller Price Tag

Shein could launch its long-awaited Hong Kong IPO as soon as next week, targeting a valuation of roughly $30 billion to $40 billion. That is a dramatic reset from its $98 billion peak private valuation as slowing growth, tighter regulation, higher trade costs, and mounting e-commerce competition make investors less willing to pay up for the fast-fashion giant.

RTL Uses a Major Acquisition to Rewrite Its Growth Outlook

RTL Group raised its full-year revenue forecast following its acquisition of Sky Deutschland. First-half operating earnings also climbed sharply, giving the European broadcaster more scale as traditional media companies increasingly combine streaming, television, and content assets to compete with global platforms.

Healthcare & Capital

Lilly’s Weight-Loss Pill Clears Its First European Hurdle

Britain became the first European country to approve Eli Lilly’s Foundayo for both weight management and type 2 diabetes. The once-daily tablet gives Lilly another weapon against Novo Nordisk as the obesity market begins expanding beyond injections and into a potentially much larger oral-drug opportunity.

Berkshire Is Finally Putting Its Mountain of Cash to Work

Berkshire Hathaway shares climbed after Greg Abel began deploying more of the conglomerate’s cash pile. Berkshire repurchased $4.5 billion of its own shares and bought $23.5 billion of stocks during the second quarter, including a $10 billion Alphabet investment, while operating profit rose 16%—an early sign that the post-Buffett era may be more active on capital allocation.

Movers and Shakers

Babcock & Wilcox [BW]: Premarket Move: +39%

Babcock & Wilcox surged as its AI data-center power pipeline continued to translate into sharply higher revenue and backlog. Second-quarter revenue jumped 130% to $319.7 million, while backlog reached $2.6 billion and the company secured another 1 gigawatt of steam turbines for a future data-center project.

On Holding [ONON]: Premarket Move: −16%

On Holding fell after second-quarter sales came in below Wall Street expectations, despite continued strength in its direct-to-consumer business. DTC sales grew 34.3% in constant currency and apparel jumped 56.2%, but total revenue of CHF 850.3 million missed the CHF 881.4 million consensus estimate.

Riot Platforms [RIOT]: Premarket Move: +21%

Riot jumped after Citizens reiterated its Market Outperform rating following a major AI data-center lease. The 20-year agreement covers 191 megawatts at Riot’s Rockdale facility and carries roughly $9.1 billion in initial contract value, pushing the former bitcoin miner deeper into AI infrastructure.

You Read This Far. Here's Where the Real Work Lives.

We run three live portfolios on Autopilot, and everything about them is public: every position, every allocation, every trade, visible the moment it happens.

We keep our own money in each one, because analysis you won't fund yourself is just content.

THE UNBREAKABLE STACK
Our growth book: durable software and cybersecurity names built to compound quietly for years.

THE HORMUZ PREMIUM
Our energy thesis: built for how that sector actually pays, over quarters, not headlines.

THE SQUEEZE
The defensive sleeve: staples and steady compounders, boring on purpose, built for the nights you'd rather sleep than watch futures.

And here's the part that makes it effortless: Autopilot does the trading for you. Connect the brokerage you already use (Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, and more) and every move we make gets mirrored in your own account automatically.

Your money never leaves your brokerage. It stays in your account, under your control, and you can override any trade or disconnect anytime. Autopilot even rebalances automatically when allocations drift, and you get a notification every time something happens.

No watching tickers. No timing entries. No fat-finger mistakes at market open. You pick the portfolio, we do the work, your account follows along.

Pick the one that fits your risk level, or run all three:

Live portfolios, real positions, our own capital at stake. Your funds stay in your own brokerage account. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

That’s all for today. Thank you for reading. If you have any feedback, please reply to this email.
