RTX Wins $2.8B Pratt & Whitney Contract for F-35 Engines

RTX (NYSE: RTX), through its Pratt & Whitney division, has been awarded a $2.8 billion contract to produce 141 F135 engines that power Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) F-35 fighter jets.
The order covers U.S. and allied demand as part of Lot 18 aircraft deliveries, extending Pratt & Whitney’s leadership role in the Joint Strike Fighter program.
For equity holders, the award strengthens RTX’s backlog in its defense business at a time when the commercial aerospace sector is still recovering unevenly and facing supply chain constraints.
With more than 1,300 F135 engines already delivered, the new contract builds on a proven platform, providing long-term cash flow visibility.
This stability helps balance RTX’s earnings profile and reinforces its dividend-supported model.
Those studying the defense sector should view this as a signal of how embedded Pratt & Whitney remains in U.S. and allied military readiness.
While Lockheed captures headlines as the prime contractor, RTX secures recurring value as the exclusive engine supplier, which puts them in a position that competitors cannot easily challenge.
The award also highlights steady demand for advanced propulsion systems, aligning RTX with multi-decade defense spending commitments.
The contract reinforces RTX’s role as a cornerstone of the U.S. defense industrial base. For shareholders, it adds resilience and predictability to the company’s growth trajectory.

Eli Lilly Advances Obesity Pill Orforglipron After Successful Phase 3 Trial

Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) reported that its daily obesity pill, orforglipron, met the primary goals of a late-stage trial in patients with obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
The treatment helped participants lose an average of 10.5% of their body weight while also improving blood sugar control, providing Lilly with the complete clinical package needed to begin global regulatory filings for chronic weight management.
For equity holders, the milestone highlights Eli Lilly’s ability to expand its GLP-1 franchise beyond injectable drugs, such as Zepbound.
An oral pill is easier to manufacture and distribute, potentially broadening access and accelerating adoption.
That convenience could translate into higher patient volumes and recurring revenue, supporting the long-term growth trajectory of Lilly’s obesity and diabetes portfolio.
Competitive positioning also matters.
Novo Nordisk is developing its own oral GLP-1, but dietary restrictions and manufacturing challenges leave room for Eli Lilly to capture a near-term advantage.
With GLP-1s already considered one of the most lucrative therapeutic markets, a differentiated oral option strengthens Lilly’s edge in one of the fastest-growing categories in healthcare.
The trial's success reinforces Eli Lilly’s leadership in the innovation of obesity treatment.
For shareholders, it provides visibility into new revenue streams that could reshape the company’s valuation profile in the coming decade.

5 Stocks Handpicked for Big Upside
You don’t need 100 trades to change your future. Sometimes, it only takes five.
Our team filtered through thousands of companies to identify the 5 best positioned for outsized returns.

Technical momentum suggesting powerful upside potential
Past editions of this report uncovered stocks that soared +175%, +498%, even +673%.¹
Now it’s your turn to see the latest 5 hand-picked opportunities.
Why settle for average, when massive is within reach?

Time to Take Profits? Why Two High-Flying Stocks May Be Due for a Healthy Pullback.

Markets love momentum, but even the strongest runs eventually cool.
After a string of blowout quarters, some stocks are now flashing technical warnings that suggest it may be time for investors to trim exposure.
Reddit and Altria fall into that camp where both have delivered outsized gains this year, yet the setup now looks stretched against their fundamentals.
Reddit (NYSE: RDDT)
Reddit has been one of 2025’s standout performers, riding a 121% surge in just three months after reporting 78% year-over-year revenue growth.
Earnings and user engagement trends are undeniably strong, but the stock has moved too far, too fast.
Its RSI has breached the overbought zone twice this month, and the MACD is confirming weakening momentum.
A pullback into the $175–$185 range would not be surprising, especially given how quickly shares moved from $50 to over $220 in just a year.
Altria (NYSE: MO)
Altria isn’t supposed to trade like a growth stock, yet shares have rallied nearly 30% year-to-date.
The push above $66 has sent RSI over 80, a rare event for a defensive dividend payer.
History suggests this kind of move rarely sticks. Even a 10% pullback toward its 50-day moving average would bring valuations back in line with fundamentals.
Reddit and Altria highlight a classic lesson: even strong businesses can become poor buys when technicals outpace reality.
Locking in profits here may be the smarter long-term move.
