4 Stocks leading the premarket rally š„
The market is looking to extend last week's gains in its return from the weekend....
Good Morning!
It's Chris from Elite Trade Club, here to give you this morning's premarket trading news.
Let's get ready to trade!
Markets š
Stocks closed out last week with strong gains. The Nasdaq was the dayās top gainer, thanks to a strong performance from the tech sector.

Futures are up in early trading, with S&P 500 contracts showing a 0.3% gain.
According to McKinsey and Company, the battery storage market is growing rapidly, especially with the transition to clean, renewable energy.
Lithium-ion batteries still grab most of the headlines.
But analysts now call safe and long-lasting batteries made with vanadium "the future of battery tech."
Premarket Highlights š
šØš³ Woes Continue for Chinese Stocks
Chinese stock markets are enduring a relentless decline, with key indexes plummeting to multi-year lows.
Monday's trading session marked another low point for mainland China and Hong Kong stocks.
šø Sell-Off Snapshot:
CSI 300's Steep Fall: The CSI 300, a benchmark for mainland Chinese stocks, dropped by 1.6%, reaching its lowest point in nearly five years.
Hang Seng's Descent: Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined by 2.3%, edging closer to its lowest close since 2009.
Investor Concerns Mount: Growing apprehensions about China's economic health have led to a protracted downward trend in these markets.
2023's Rough Start: The Hang Seng Index has already decreased by 12% this year, potentially heading for its most significant monthly drop since October 2022.
Shanghai Composite's Struggles: The Shanghai Composite Index has fallen over 7% in January, its worst performance since early 2022.
Foreign Investment Retreat: There's been a notable withdrawal of foreign investment from mainland Chinese shares, contrasting sharply with last year's inflow.
The ongoing struggles of Chinese stocks underscore deepening investor unease about the country's economic prospects and geopolitical uncertainties.
What to Watch Today š
Rally Momentum
The market closed out last week with back-to-back rallies that carried the S&P 500 to a new record high. But, how far can the momentum carry the index? Todayās session could go a long way towards answering the question, and it could help you refine your strategy for the coming weeks.

Rail Vision Unit [RVSN] - Last Close: $1.37
This morning, the railway safety tech developer announced it had obtained formal certifications that will meet critical European railway standards.
A company rep said achieving compliance with the EU regulations āmarks a major milestoneā for the company and puts them ahead of their competition.
RVSN is a top mover with a 74.4% gain on 6.5 million shares traded.
My Take: RVSN has been very volatile lately, so itās hard to say if this rally is the real deal. Tread lightly.
Digital World Acquisition [DWAC] - Last Close: $26.38
Digital World Acquisition continues to soar after former President Donald Trumpās dominant performance at the Iowa primary last week.
The SPAC has a deal in place to take Trumpās TRUTH Social, so the former presidentās reelection campaign has had a strong influence on the stock.
Ron DeSantisās withdrew from the race over the weekend, narrowing the field to just Trump and his former cabinet member, Nikki Haley.
DWAC is up 11.6% on the news, and DWACW warrants are up by a whopping 29.5%. However, volume is a bit thin in the early goings.
My Take: DWAC is trading like a sentiment guage for a second Trump term. The stock could push higher if Trumpās campaign can maintain its momentum.
NuStar Energy [NS] - Last Close: $18.03
This small-cap energy firm has agreed to be acquired by Sunoco [SUN] in an all-equity transaction valued at roughly $7.3 billion, including assumed debt.
Under the terms of the deal, NuStar investors will receive 0.4 shares of SUN for each shares of NS common stock they own.
The deal is expected to close in Q2 2024, and Sunoco expects it to produce at least $150 million in run-rate synergies.
NS is up 21.6% on the news on over 100K shares traded in the premarket.
My Take: This deal is already priced into shares of NS so I donāt see a lot of upside here. However, if prices dip, it could provide opportunities to get into shares of SUN at a favorable exchange rate down the road.
Northann Corp [NCL] - Last Close: $1.36
Shares of this 3D-printed home improvement solutions stock are gaining after the company announced its exhibit lineup for an upcoming trade show.
Northann unveiled its exhibit for the 2024 International Service Event in Las Vegas, the largest trade exposition for flooring, stone, and tile in North America.
The lineup includes Ocean Plastic Waste Core Blue11, High Glossy Flooring and Wall Panels, Versatile Substrates, and an Updated AI-Powered Envision Engine.
NCL is up 18.5% on over 4 million shares traded.
My Take: NCL could get another boost if any big news comes out of this upcoming trade show. It could be worth monitoring through the beginning of next week.
That's it for today! Thanks for reading, and good luck out there!
Best Regards,
ā Chris D.
